North American FungiQuest
September 15 – October 15, 2022
The largest observation event ever conducted wrapped up in October 2022, with just under 150,000 observations by 33,000 participants. We identified upwards of 4,400 species across North America.
With so many observations, we broke the internet. We’re taking 2023 to examine how we can do better, and we hope to be back in 2024 for another round of the Great North American FungiQuest!
